It's very well deserved.
Though its pretty funny in terms of timelines. I think the movie is in a Marvel universe timeline, but the timeline is not the same as the X-men movies, wich have their own (2 actually).
I also loved the writing. It was amazing seeing the first faithfully written Colossus in an X-men movie. Deadpool was also very well written. It felt exactly like a comic book.
I don't know how they are gonna pull off Cable, but fingers crossed.
As much as i like the X-men. I wish marvel could take the reigns of it again to make all these movies make sense in their overarching universe. |
I thought this would be in the second x-men timeline, which is the new timeline. I want marvel to have x-men back as well, but I want Fantastic Four back with Marvel, before x-men.

Would have to be something crazy like beeing between the 1st and second or 2nd and 3rd movies. Because Colossus mentions the professor is alive.
Wasnt the ship the last battle was on the helicarrier from the avengers though?
