If they continue performing as they have this past generation, I think they might do better as 3rd party - but ONLY if they keep the handheld line up. If they ditch the handhelds and go pure 3rd party I think it'll be down hill from there. But if they make another Wii U I think it makes perfect sense to go 3rd party on home consoles, economically anyways.
