Yes I know, I can not prove anything really.

But as I "researched" I came to the conclusion that the person (Richard Mark) that is the head of Sonys VR-research is also one of the people that was instrumental in having a lightbar on the Dualshock before the PS4 was released.

Why the lightbar can not be turned off is a mystery.

I will look in to it some more and maybe come back with a separate thread, as this is a little off topic.
