Your Marth runs away from my Ike which frustrates me a lot.
And your link does the same except to a much more frustrating degree.
Everytime my Ike came close you would backstep 3-4 times away and start throwing boomerangs and shooting arrows again. Though that is a good strategy so I can't blame your for it. I was also confused in the metroid stage, I couldn't tell when the acid would come up... and I kept killing myself..
Overall, your Link is better.
Since your marth will be forced to run in when you're up against characters like TL.
Your link on the other hand can survive projectile wars.
