Yeah. I've been following the Zimbabwe story for a while now. I want to say about a year. Doing the actual research on it makes it an even sadder story.
They went from a prosperous food exporting nation called the "Bread Basket of Africa" yet, not quite equal nation... to a starving economically riddled country because they were convinced by Mugabe to seize the land, that never made it to other competant farmers, but isntead to his own allies.
Since then things have gotten worse, and he's just used more power to steal everything.
Sad, considering that during their fights for independence he was their greatest hero... and was voted into office.
