No, it can only Split the Userbase, the Console itself and the Games will sell more than 20 Millions in 1 Year, people seems to forget that Games is what sell consoles, How Much Playstation 4, sold in 2014 ?, 13-14 Millions ?, in 2015 it sold over 18 Millions, why do you think that the Console will need this new Version in order to sell 20 Millions ?, in 2016, when we have VR, and some of the Biggest exclusives coming out, Plus a Main-line Final Fantasy.

Whenever a new revision comes out consokes sales usally see an increase. As for vr i dont see it selling console. Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero are the only exclusives that i can see having a big impact in sales but even with those exclusives im not sure ps4 can do 20Ml or more. FF is only a big system seller in Japan and the legs of FF ganes dont impress.
