The Nintendo games im referring to are Fire Emblem & Pokemon, there certainly arent any turn based RPGs on PS/XB that sell anywhere close to Pokemon and the only strategy game on PS/XB to sell over 2 million last generation was Halo Wars.

There is nothing that indicates these types of games would do significantly better on PS/XB and if Nintendo games dont have a significant rise in sales than what is the point of going 3rd party?

Fire Emblem is an SRPG so should be compared to other SRPGs such as Disgaea or something rather than Halo Wars. Not a huge seller, no. But SRPG is a niche genre so what do you expect? It's still a genre that's going to have a decent amount of fans on PS though due to the sheer number of them that release there. Pokemon would sell on anything so...

But anyways, both of those games are ones that do better on handheld. Their home console games are much more reason to go 3rd party than their handheld ones. It's home consoles where the small install base is holding them back rather than on handheld. RPGs like Xenoblade could sell better as a multiplat game.

And how well does Disgaea sell? Which is exactly my point, there is nothing that suggests a game like Fire Emblem would sell notably better by going to devices where its genre is niche.

Same goes for other Nintendo franchises, would Mario Party, Pikmin, Captain Toad, Kirby, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, Tomodachi, Paper Mario, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, etc. sell notably better on PS/XB?
