I dont want to see them fail, but I love the monkey wrench the Wii has thrown in the gaming world. HD games cost out the ass and are putting good studios in financial trouble which is causing all the devs to be bought up buy the big guys. The big guys are less likely to green light innovative ideas and new IPs for fear that they will not make a return on an investment. Assuming this is true, we will get tons of generic, cookie cutter games games(Im looking at you 95% of FPS's) and sequels.

The Wii allows devs to to make games at cost effective prices which results in more innovative games. Unfortunately this also results in a lot of low cost crap. HD is the future but it is too risky for the little guy.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
