Besides, the biggest problem is that Nintendo is trying to do these "innovations" that only spikes the cost of their system instead going for a cheap/affordable console with a standard controller. People will buy the system if it has a good standard controller, good first party games and it is affordable from the gate ($250). That controller will drive the cost up. It will be more epensive than the xbox one and ps4 more than likely. Why would someone ditch those consoles where their friends already playing on to go on a more expensive console with a lack luster library compare to ps4 and xbox one and more than likely a worse online infastructure? |
Except going for a cheap affordable console with a standard controller was already done with the GC and even the gamepad on the Wii U is pretty standard which shoots down this logic altogether, anyone who still thinks the bog standard route will solve all the problems needs to finally wake up. Nintendo takes this route because the consumer has sent a message that the other route is no good to the company and won't help them in any form.
Why does anyone ditch any console to buy new ones?
