Well there is only one thing left to do then...enjoy your WiiU and stop thinking about it. Seriously they denied it and that should be good enough, because unless they CONFIRM it you will only be worried over something that possibly is not happening. At that point you are just hitting your head against the wall instead of enjoying the games.
Don't be so eager for answers when we already have them , cause wether they are true or not, we have no way of knowing till they announce the discontinuation themselves. When that time comes, get NX and enjoy what Nintendo has to offer.
It really is pointless to go about it any other way to be honest.
