Nintendo always denies legit things like this. Remember how they promised to support the Wii and GBA after their successors arrived? Or how there will be no 3DS XL (also a Nekkei report)? Or how they'll never do mobile? Or how there will be no n3DS in the west? It's all just PR to prevent the sales from falling.
Regardless, i hope they know what they're doing. Competing with both PS4 and smartphones is pretty ridiculous competition..
