I love the Wii but waggle (I hate that word) and pointing are its selling points. I can't really stop you from buying one but the vast majority of the Wii games are made for motion controls and are going to use motion controls. Developers are actually strongly discouraged to make games that do not use Wii Remote and nunchuck as their primary control scheme so sadly you are going to have a very small library.
