Thread : no, console gamers are not more attacked to gimmicks. Once people realised Move or Kinect will not get AAA games, they drop it immediately. U cant blame people for company's lies/misleading marketing.
That's why I am not burned with VR. Rememebr guyz, More or Kinect also get a plenty of games ... launch window.
