Theres of course a charm to random mumbles and imagining things, but quality, charismatic voice acting + would really take the franchise to another level. Especially at this point where Skyward had a rather big script. The openning few hours of the game were filled with so much dialogue, its clear that the developers had a very clear vision for the NCPs and how they want them to come across.
Link still hasn't had no lines of dialogue so of course he remaining silent is safe.
