I think that we need to try it ourselves to reserve judgement, it's very possible that it'll work. Something like this must have gone through a lot of testing. I agree that replacing buttons is not something that should be done, but we should reserve judgement.
Zoom in with "crtl+" I don't think gap is the right word, but you can see where it slides under. A small little space.
Also why do you keep calling it a controller, when by design. It seems more like a handheld aspect. You also mention that you seem to know for fact that it will succeed. Do you have insider info? But you show doubt with "unless this is real" or something like that. How do you know this controller will fail? How do you know that it's not a handheld? I may have missed it, but I haven't seen you address these.
