I'm not bashing them, I am simply pointing out that costly novelty controllers are generally viewed negatively by gamers these days, and certainly did Wii U no favours.

Just pointing out that you ask.. "have Nintendo not learned anything?"  it makes no sense.. becourse its not from Nintendo..

You could say.."I really dont hope Nintendo make an expensive novelty controller" that would make sense.. (imo).. but enough of that.. :)
