Do you guys think it's possible that the NX could be compatible with VR?

I think its abit to risky for nintendo to do their own VR headset, but I could see them useing anothers headset.
These headsets are expensive, and the R&D can be huge for such a device.

If it happends it makes the most sense if they team up with sony.
3rd party VR games from sony would also be playable on the NX (if it was equally powerfull to the PS4).

 

Nintendo cant afford to do a risky venture like VR headsets, with how small their console market is atm, and how costly R&D are for it.

Also imagine if NX flops, sells only 15m units or so like the Wii U, and then only 10% of the nintendo users buy the VR headset.

That probably recoup the costs for R&D, and the amount of units wouldnt be big enough to support nintendo only developed games.

 

The solution would be 3rd party, and useing anothers headset, like sonys (its developed for consoles).

There is a better chance of Sony rebranding the PS4 as the Toupee-station 2016 and revealing Donald Trump as their new mascot than this happening.
