It doesn't mean they're going digital only it just means that the current physical games weren't created with this function in mind at the time of conception, NX physical games will likely use this especially going by the patent of a platform that identifies physical software and logs it into a library, that would fall in line with this set up here.

True, they've had so many patents lately I can't keep track of them. I hope the NX is not digital-only. Whoever crosses that line will be under an inmediate pressure, and be blamed for setting up the trend.
