When I comes to alcohol it seems that no matter how little concentration there is in a drink I can usually taste it, and I hate it. It probably comes from an incident where I poisoned my self with wood alcohol. (My sister had it in a cup to clean brushes, and hadn't used it yet. I thought it was water.) My family has tried various things. Even expensive wines. You should of the looks on my cousin's faces when I was grimacing while forcing myself to drink the $600 wine. The only alcohol I can abide regularly is straight up whisky, it kills taste on contact. Suffice to say my intake for a year can be measured in milileters.
Little tip on wood alcohol: it breaks down into fremeldahyde then into an acid that slowly causes blindness and organ shut down. That is why I don't get the people who use those vaporizers a lot of them have fremeldahyde in them so be careful. (I also recommend the documentary the Poisner's handbook, it about the introduct of Forensic science into the US. You should see some people faces when I tell them the title and leave it at that.)
