What you're saying makes no sense vs what I said. I said Wii U will be a collector's item and will be considered a great one. And all evidence points to that. Tons of highly rated exclusives, limited availability, and a controller that is exclusive to the console. Everything you said in your first few sentences pretty much says everything that will make it a collectors item.PS4 or Xbox One doesn't matter in this whole equation. Wii U sold limited numbers, physical games are rare, and there are already games that are selling for above msrp. And it'll only get worse.

You said "this is why" Wii U will be a collector's item and will be considered a great one. 'This' refering to this topic, which is comparing the number of highly rated exclusives between the three consoles. If the chart figures were highly in favor of PS4/XBO, would you have expressed yourself the same way? If the comparison to PS4 and XB1 didn't matter, you shouldn't have said "this is why", and instead specified what you meant.
But clearly you are comparing it to other consoles though, because in order for it to become a lucrative collectors item it has to have an incentive over other consoles.

And even by your argument, what I said still stands compared to other consoles in regards to highly rated exclusives.
On this list, WiiU only has 3 exclusives rated between 90-100. The Gamecube had 8. (Not counting ports, or the number goes to 11.) Even Wii had 7.

And as for Playstation 2, I lost count at 40.
I haven't compared the number of 75-89 rated games, as that would take a lot of time, but if a console has a number of great games, you can expect it to have even more good games.

I think the WiiU library is lacking compared to many previous consoles. It's more that it has a higher concentration of good-great games than that it has more of them.

As for the controller, not many of these highly rated games actually make use of it in a meaningful way. And if that controller breaks, you're gonna have to spend a lot of money finding a new one, because it's required to navigate the OS.
For people who just want to have fancy expensive things, I can see why WiiU will be considered a holy relic. But in terms of playing games, I don't think it will be as coveted as for example a Gamecube.

I don't think you understand what goes into collectors value. Its availability, and desire. Nintendo products are always highly sought after years later. Then factor in its units sold, physical games sold, the possibility of a collectible controller and you have a recipe for a collectors item. Everything you're saying is only making it more valuable. When I say 'This is why', I'm referring to it having fantastic exclusives. Did you see me mention other consoles? I didn't. You're reaching on that one. I couldn't care less about the PS4 or Xbox One. They don't factor into Wii U's collectibility. Here. Let me quote me.

This is why Wii U will end up being one of the best collectors items in gaming history.

Never once did I say a word about PS4 or Xbox One. Take them out of this whole conversation. The real conversation will be Wii U collectibility vs Saturn, or Dreamcast. I get you wanna talk about Wii U in modern console terms, but that flew out the window a while ago. Wii U will end up being a bigger collectors item because of less units sold. Less games sold, less peripherals sold, and a controller that if broken, ruins the whole system. These factors alone means that Wii U ends up trumping Gamecube. And as far as those 90+ rated games go, they were great. But their collectors value is already set and if they were rated today, most of those games would be rated lower. Last I checked, the most expensive thing on GCN was the component cables. Wii U already had games reach over $100, and Wii U is still on the market. I wouldn't be shocked in the least if the gamepad ends up selling for $200 or more years down the road. There's just too many things that scream that Wii U will end up being a goldmine for collectors.
