You can disagree, but what homerman said is accurate. This happens in PCs every product generation. Pop-in replacements will make their way in at some point. On the other hand we very likely won't see a new form factor for the Wii. It's about as small as it can possibly be. They can barely fit all the GameCube sockets on the one side.
