Could "Cartridges" (Or Something Similar) Make a Comeback?

The format that a game comes on to me is about the most boring thing about games.

Like who cares. It will be exactly the same game no matter the format more or less.

It's not like the 90s where cartridges vs CDs were a huge difference in the end game experience.
