Actually I think they stockpiled in April to deliberatly release a huge amount of Wii's right before GTAIV release. I think it was a brilliant stategy. Sucked up a lot of disposable income. People saying to themselves "I am getting a Wii now while I can.  GTAIV and a 360/PS3 can wait. They will be easy to find a month or two from now."

 

I still think Mario Kart Wii would still have sold 1 million copies in April even if Nintendo had only shipped 200,000 Wii's.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
