I can never understand how some people feel that they have to choose between either DC or Marvel. I'm a comic fan, so I dig stuff from Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Valiant, Dark Horse, and so on. My current favorite Marvel movie is Winter Soldier, so I am excited for Civil War (I loved the comic version). Yet, I also enjoyed Man of Steel, and so far, I'm most hyped for Batman v. Superman (Affleck seems great as Batman, and I still can't believe we're finally going to get to see a Wonder Woman in a film).
As a comic fan, I'm hoping both of these films do well, because their success means more comic films. When I was a kid, I would have never imagined that I would be seeing the Avengers or the Justice League on the big screen, so to see several movies in these universes in a single year is insane.
The opening post seems to be painting a particular agenda, because the final BvS trailer has far more views than what was suggested in the OP (they're spread out over several different channels), largely because the trailer on the Warner Bros. channel was posted later than other channels.
