| Lingyis said: yeah, the average age for gamers has grown so much... when i was a kid, video games were 100% a "kid's thing." today, somehow, "kiddie" video games are shunned and derided by many so-called gamers. i would hear my relatives say, back in those days, "you're a teenager now, you're still playing video games? grow up! you should be ashamed of yourself." in fact that's how i felt for a long time... until the wii came along and i can play video games without this guilty feeling! since even my parents play them. being most popular in the 11-18 age group means the 360 and ps3 will start being perceived as a toy--the exact opposite of the Wii which is starting to be viewed as a console for more mature adults. oh the irony! |
I dont fully agree, but u got a point. Wii can become a console with games that dont really look like games...and understood better by older people
I like technology when its moving forward..
