Xenoblade Chronicles X is definitely not aimed for a casual public, this might be one of the most hardcore JRPG series Nintendo ever had since Fire Emblem. If anything, i'm surprised that the sequel managed to sell better than the original, and it's numbers are respectable if you consider the user base of the console.
