I get the complaint: Most people who are going to get this game are pretty aware that Japan's culture and values are just different about this.
However, here's the problem: many of us in the west live with people, specifically women (wives, mothers, roommates, daughters) who won't understand that culture. So if clothing modification helps us stay out of awkward conversation, I'm all for that.
I still think the game retains that bit of 'wow' factor the first trailer had though.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
