Although there are some games or at least game ideals that Microsoft have over Sony (see Halo 1-4 and Gears of War series) overall I have always preferred the Sony exclusives.
I do wish that Sony (or at least Sony exclusive developers) would take some of the ideals of the staple Microsoft brands and incorporate them into a franchise. For example a first/third party science fiction series with both local and online co-operative as well as competitive modes that is easy to pick up and play.
