Pretty much everyone else I knew from the Sega side in the past also went for PlayStation.

Sega strong makers of the past, Europe and Brasil do alligned better with PlayStation.
Don't know if that's a sign of where Sega fanbase migrated to but it's also because of PlayStation WorldWide expansive brand approach.

I'm also ex-Sega turned Playstation... but I think he is talking about the demented that blame Sony for Sega leaving HW market and so align with MS.
