Why didn't Reggie appear during the latest Nintendo Direct ?

Pretty much this. I'm pretty sure he'll be on the E3 Direct. He seems to only deal with bigger reveals nowadays, which is cool, cause whenever he shows up people will instantly expect great things.

I agree with this. Pretty sure he is going to be the one to announce the NX.
