Amiibo is the worst thing to happen this generation

Skylander is restricted to one game as is Disney Infinity. Nintendo tries to milk Amiibo across every franchise they have. That is a huge difference and just because another company does something, doesn't mean you should shamelessly copy it and make it even worse.

Yeah, but the Wii U games don't require the amiibo to play the game, like Skylanders or Disney Infinity (except for maybe Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, not sure). Which is strange that optional figurines for games would be worse than required...
