If it helps Nintendo to turn a profit than I am fine with it. Amiibo has been implemented in such a way that it doesn't really inconvenience gamers who don't want to purchase them. I'm not a huge fan of collectibles, myself, but the Yoshi's Woolly World Amiibo was so cool that even I had to pick one up!
