well, you sure took that the wrong way. first off, i dont know how you missed Kirby using his copy ability the way he normally does earlier in the direct trailer. so it isnt going away and being locked behind an amiibo. the amiibo is meant to be a convinience- dont have an ability? just tap the amiibo and get one. or you can get an ability manually by eating enemies. you probably took that the wrong way and if you just go back and rewatch the trailer, you will see that the only feature locked away is the one UFO copy ability, which is completely new to the series, and a costume that will not affect the game in any way.
aand for that last bit about needing to buy the extra accessory, well you just have to deal with that. its a $10 accessory.
