And this is a personal issue, I would feel terrible if I put it in the PC. I just can't do that xDDD Thank you, your team is pretty good too! I respect you alot for having a Butterfree. Most people get one early on because by that point almost none other Pokémon can't compare to it. But when they start progressing... they change it for something even more powerful. It's a shame, it's great Pokémon... I wanted to have a Primeape in my team (I LOVE that Pokémon, it's so cool)... but I realized too late that Mankey is on the Red version. Oh well, I'm pretty happy with my team. I never had a Jynx or a Nidoqueen on my main adventure team, it was fun to play with them ^^ |
Butterfree is actually really powerful in Gen I so its those people's loss that they switch out! Although its mainly used against Brock for its special stat and confusion, its sleep powder and stun spore at 75% accuracy can really cripple powerful Pokemon. Was able to put Gengar and Dragonair in Elite Four to sleep thanks to my Butterfree and got an easy kill or revenge kill out of it! Not to mention paralyze helps catching Pokemon as well. The fact that Team Rocket, Erika, Koga, Saffron Fighting gym, and Agatha have a bunch of Poison type Pokemon and Butterfree is nearly faster than all of them makes it useful late game as well.
