Couldn't have said it better myself.  I think I'm finally reaching that middle ground all Nintendo fans one day face - most Nintendo devs can't cut the mustard; and I can't enjoy Nintendo games like I used to.

I blame Super Mario Galaxy 2 for everything. That game was the start of the "let's play it safe" mentality Ninty has been under this past half-decade.
