What exactly is soooo complicated in the XBO dashboard?
On the start screen you can instantly see how much of your friends are online and you have access to the friend list, party chat, messages, settings and app docking with a simple tap on the digi-pad:

If you want to go to your favorite games and apps, they are just a button press (RT) away. You can even easily sort your favorites how you like them best:

Another button press (A) and... BAM!... you are in the complete app/games library, by default in the more important games section. It offers also infos about the free space on your hard drive:

If I want to go into the games library (there is no favorite section) of my PS4, I have to scroll all the way to the right through the unsorted mess of last used apps. There is no button to bring me to the game library instantly.

After opening the library, all apps and games are mixed together by default (you can switch to filtered selections afterward). There is no way to mark your favorite apps and/or games as favorites or to sort them:

To check the free HDD space on PS4, you have to go in the settings, it's not shown in the game library.
