I'm sorry but as a Paper Mario fan, I've been burned too many times by Intelligent Systems. We've received lackluster Paper Mario titles ever since Super Paper Mario. I can tell what the games intention is and I don't like it. They are getting rid of party members, taking a stage like approach, adding in more Paper Toads like we need more of them. And they called it an "Action Adventure" game...not a RPG. So, no thanks.
