I was going to make this thread. Ha!
For a few years now, most of the time when Nintendo reveals a new game, the Internet reception is lukewarm. People complain only to find that the end game is pretty good.
I don't remember the Pikmin or A Link Between Worlds ones myself but don't doubt you. The examples I remember are:
-New Super Mario Bros U
-Hyrule Warriors
-3D World
-Tropical Freeze
-Splatoon
-Mario Maker
-Star Fox Zero (now getting good previews)
-Twilight Princess HD (Many say it looks better now)
and now Color Splash. I think Nintendo fans are complaining a lot recently for little reason. Just because it isn't what you wanted, or expected, doesn't make it bad.
With that said, people are entitled to their opinions
