It's worth remembering that Nintendo have worked exclusively with From in the past, albeit not for a while. They made the two Lost Kingdoms RPGs for the GameCube. I'm not saying these rumours are valid (and I won't place much stock in anything unless it comes from Nintendo themselves) but it's not out of the question that something like this could happen.
