Nintendo is going to treat its audience like they've never seen the game before, like they do with literally every game they localize, especially when they've teased this game for longer than any other game on the Wii U's library. And there's Paper Mario/Pikmin 4. That's three major big budget first party games coming out this holiday. It doesn't matter if you think it warrents a focus. It's getting that focus like that stuff always does. |
Always does, except in all those E3's listed in the OP. Super Paper Mario, a way less niche game, couldn't even get into the 2006 conference. The XCX comparison doesn't work as it had no competition for screen time last E3, certainly not new hardware. Btw Paper Mario n Pikmin 4 are not confirmed for Wii U, but you knew that already.
