The two things that make the rumour unbelievable are as follows:
1. Sakurai having a game in development for NXH - he's currently on an extended holiday after finishing off Smash, something he explicitly said in the February edition of his Famitsu column.
2. No mention at all of anything "new" about the systems - they're just Wii U and 3DS with more power and, in the case of Wii U, a different architecture and an SD card slot on the controller. Nintendo have been pretty explicit about NX having a "new idea" that they didn't want to talk about too early because they were worried a competitor would steal the idea. I can understand the rumour not specifying what the new thing is, but it should have at least mentioned its existence.
