I think that if Nintendo does something like this then they will have to make Sun/Moon a dual-platform release between the NX handheld and 3DS. Nintendo is just in far too weak of a position now to release a new handheld and not take advantage of a guaranteed 10 million-selling Pokemon game that's coming out in its launch window.
