2. Appropriate HD resolution and frame rates

If they find a way to make the grass look as good as the gif above then I can accept 720p and the standard 30 fps for 3D Zelda games.

I wouldn't worry about resolution; Nintendo have never released a Wii U title that runs in sub-HD. Worst case scenario we are looking at 720p with no AA, a la Mario Kart 8 or Splatoon. 720p with post-process AA, a la 3D World/Captain Toad/Xenoblade X, is a strong possibility.

I do confess though, now that it's likely going to be a cross-gen title, I am concerned about how well the Wii U version will look and run. Some games that were cross-gen between PS4/X1 and PS3/360 looked/ran quite badly on the latter.

Yeah you're probably right about the stable frame rates. I don't even mind the AA nonsense if the art style looks good.

But I'm worried about it being like a late PS360 game as well. Hopefully it will be like Twilight Princess but I fear Nintendo may be pulling all the stops for the NX version now and finishing the Wii U port last and is expecting majority of Wii U owners to buy it on the NX :-/ *
