| Rpruett said: Firstly, no one said that Trump was going to come in and strong arm himself around and get his way. That goes against the entire foundation of how this country was setup. His private sector experience will pay great dividends when pushing the direction this country moves forward in though. It's almost laughable that you dismiss something so large. Exactly what has Trump done in the private sector that will mean anything in the public. Exactly how will he suddenly get the votes to push anything if he cannot garner the votes in his own party. In the private sector your money is the big dog but in the public its your connections. Without those connections and votes, it matter little what Trump has accomplished in the private sector. Lets take one of his statements when asked about all the Bankruptcy he filed, "I never went bankrupt". Is that the type of attitude you want from someone one who will be running the country. And again, Trump has built upwards to a 10 billion dollar global enterprise, spanning a wide variety of countries, cultures. He has clearly proven that he has the skillset with making deals, getting along with diverse personalities and coming out on top of those interactions. It's simply put, that simple. You're so wound up with his 'media' appearance that you can't see the forest through the trees. His campaign alone is a complete reference on his political skills, he's beating every establishment backed candidate on a shoe string budget while being simultaneously attacked from all over the place. There is plenty of Trump content that shows him in more formal situations and he handles them very well and with tact. If you believe that running a company and making deals when you are in a position of power is the same as making deals with Republicans and Democrats then you have no clue how politics work. Just the way that Trump conducts himself politically now means he will have a hard time getting anything done He might win the votes to get the primary election but he probably will burn a whole lot of bridges doing so. You are under the illusion that just because Obama wanted to do something that everyone would just fall in line with his wishes. The simple take away here is that Obama was dividing Ds and Rs to level that Rs almost entirely refused to work with him. That is a poor president. A quality president finds ways to reach positive middle grounds between the two sides. Your under the illusion just because Trump has made billions of dollars in the private sector that means he is qualified to run the country. For some reason you believe the way Trump runs his businesses that it translate to creating a budget that will work. Actually exactly what is stance on improving the ecomny. Have fun finding that out since he has none. Not once has he I not sure if you actually paid any attention to Obama term in office especially the first but it was not Obama dividing Ds and Rs. There are way to many times that Obama has sided with something Republicans wanted and because Obama either endorsed it, approved of it or voted for it they decided to vote against it. There was no dividing Republicans from Obama, it was just plan politics where they wanted him out of office and was willing to do just about anything they could to do it. Trump has the highest poll numbers and advantage over his opponents of any candidate in either party. He's got plenty of support among his party and you're delusional for believing otherwise. Trump is a businessman and knows how to reach mutually beneficial (See Positive outcomes) for whomever he is representing. Not sure where you are getting your info from but Trump does not have the higest poll numbers against either Democrate. I have to ask the questioon if yu are actually paying any attention to the Republican party to even make the statement you made. |
