You can make your own playlist on PS4, it's kind of a pain, but doable. Better to make the playlist on PC then you can select it on the PS4.

 

Isn't that only on the paid version thou? I still find it easier playing music of a USB. I can pause, play and skip songs without leaving the game very quickly which helps.
