Quite true; I seem to remember Sony Pictures advertising some tightrope-walking movie during a VR presentation, where the viewer was put in the shoes of the acrobat. That is one other application sans gaming that I could see possibly taking off. I can see porn application going through the ceiling lol; 4K POV videos plus PS4 browser and PSVR is something I imagine is in the back of many a person's mind ATM (same for Oculus/Vive + PC).
Now I am trying to imagine a killer app (in terms of games) that could launch alongside VR to hook the crowd much like Wii Sports did. Any ideas anyone?
