Games on xbox way superior, better hardware, cheaper. Still ps2 destroyed xbox.

wii u had those third party support at launch. There wernt many people that were interested in getting third party games on the wii u.

If the NX will be same/similar power like ps4, this will be the same again. 

Do you realise that Xbox 360 at beginning was killing PS3!? PS3 sales start to match Xbox 360 only when PS3 had same price like Xbox360 and when PS3 actually become to receive better exclusives. Also even multipaltform games worked and looked better on Xbox360 difrence were not so big beacuse at end games were 720p/30fps on bouth platforms, but with PS4 majority of PS4 games working at 1080p while on X1 majority of multi platform working at 900p.

PS2 and Xbox had same launch price of $299, not just that PS2 was launched one year earlier than Xbox, it was success in every sense (for instance launch titles are probably best in history), PS2 was so popular that become best selling console ever.

 

Wii U had third party support on launch, but they had bad Nintendo launch titles, nobody bought Wii U to play NSMBU or Nintendo Land, and people will definatly will not buy Nintendo platform just to play worst versions of 3rd parties, there is no one great Nintendo games available, main reason why people actually buy Nintendo consoles.

Only case that NX will be similar like Wii U is again that platform has terrible and bad marketing, weak launch titles, not competitive price, bad and not appealing gimmick, software droughts...
