xbox 360 was cheaper then ps3.
third party games worked better on xbox 360.
People still bought ps3.
xbox "1" price - 299€
Ps2 price - 430€
Games on xbox way superior, better hardware, cheaper. Still ps2 destroyed xbox.

wii u had those third party support at launch. There wernt many people that were interested in getting third party games on the wii u.
If the NX will be same/similar power like ps4, this will be the same again.
