-Nintendo can make NX to have similar power like PS4 with price point around $250-300 in 2016. easily, you forgetting PS4 had price of $299 this holiday season and Sony made profit even with that price so there no reason to think that in 2016 Nintendo cant make similar or stronger hardware with same or lower price.

See my post above. 250-300 for hardware only is logical, yes. But your forgetting all the other costs (development (OS), Services, Marketing costs, Guarantee costs (if every 10th console gets broken and nintendo needs to replace them for free, you can split that costs as a +10% for each console), transport and storage, taxes)

Also Sony is okay with selling the ps4 at hardware costs, i doubt nintendo will. Soney earns money not with the console, but with the 20% they get from every sold game. Thats a good option with third party support, i doubt nintendo want to rely on third party again (after all companies ignored the wii u).

-Definitely, after Wii U they will definitely have great and big marketing.

-We dont still know if will be standard console, definitely will have some kind of gimmick (maybe unified platform will be gimmick or part of gimmick).

- Sure but sony throws 100mio+ $ each 6 month in the ps4 marketing, nintendo atm just 30-40 mio for the whole year on the wii u. I dont know if they wanna put that money into marketing but they need to.

-After Wii U they definitely need great launch titles. Not just Zelda U like launch title, it needs at one or two more strong launch titles, new Mario 3D is one of them. They need launch games that will get attention and games because people will actually want to buy console in order to play them. NSMBU and Nintendo Land didnt done neither of those things.

Well see, im a fan of nintendos games (i even own a wii u). I personally dont care to much about zelda beeing on nx or wii u because i can play it at least on wii u anyway.

Im just fearing that, if this is their main strategy, wont work.

Zelda is cool, its probl one of my most expected games this year. But I doubt it will work. Not many people will buy an NX to play Zelda Wii U or all the games the wiiu got as well (3d mario, even mario kart, smash, splatoon). It already didnt worked with the wii u.

Look at Ps4´s lineup for just THIS year: Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, No Mans Sky, Fifa 17 + other anual sportgames, Final Fantasy 15, The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, Dark Soulds III, The Devision, Kingdoms Come Deliverance, Street Fighter 5, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Mass Effect Andromeda, Doom, Plants vs Zombies GW2, New Call of Duty, Deus Ex Manking Divided, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Hitman, Overwatch, Dishonored 2, For Honor, Unravel, Tekken 7, Detroid, Gran Turismo Sport, Mafia III, Deep Down, Ghost recon: Wildlands, Rise of the Tomb Raider

+ some rereleases/remastereds: Resident Evil 4,5,6; Heavy Rain; Beyoned 2 souls, maybe bioshock 1,2,3

+ Dlcs for Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Battlefront to keep those games fresh.

And now please tell me how Nintendo NX should compete against this. Its just doesnt matter if Zelda U is on NX or isnt. Thats not Nintendos problem.

A game like Final Fantasy 15 is at least as hyped as Zelda U and their is so much more coming to ps4. No way Nintendo can compete.

They NEED third party support. And even with 3rd party support it will get extremly hard. Look at Xbox One vs Ps4. the XBox will get most of that games as well, still didnt sell very well. In most europe country the xbox one just sell as good as the wii u. The only reason the xbox is WW still "okay" is UK and America, where the brand is still very popular.

In germany we have like 70% ps4 and 15% Wii Us, 15% Xbox Ones.

The Playstation just have the best imagine. Nintendo image is at least in terms of mature third party games very bad. I really cant see them fixing this.
