Agreed. Nintendo had a 12 month window (until the launch of the PS4 + XBO) to show the public the superior hardware of the Wii U compared to the PS3 + 360, but they didn't use that opportunity. Even Super Mario 3D World (released shortly after that 12 month window) was in the ballpark of the Ratchet&Clank Future graphics of 2007 + 2009 on PS3 (at least in 30 fps videos on YouTube). |
Mario 3D World is great looking game and works in 60fps, but Nintendo needed to have game like that on launch not when PS4/X1 arrived on market, instead something like that they had 2D Mario on Wii U launch, lol.
